Emily Sanders

Emily Sanders is the Senior Reporter for ExxonKnews, a climate accountability reporting and analysis project of the Center for Climate Integrity. She covers the fossil fuel industry's influence over democracy, ongoing disinformation campaigns, and attempts to obstruct climate action — as well as the growing efforts to hold major industry players accountable, in the courts and beyond.

Emily has investigative reporting training from Columbia Journalism School. Her writing has appeared in Atmos, DeSmog, FastCompany, The Lever, Jacobin, Truthout, and more. She lives in Queens, New York.
