Jordan McNamara (he/him) is the Plastics Accountability Attorney at the Center for Climate Integrity.
Prior to joining CCI, he served as the Executive Director and Board Chair of the Colorado Name Change Project, where he worked to provide direct legal and financial resources to Transgender and Nonbinary Coloradans seeking to update their names and gender markers. Jordan received the Stonewall Award from the American Bar Association and was named one of the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association’s "40 Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40” for his work advancing LGBTQ+ rights and causes in the legal profession.
He received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Ball State University and became the first out transgender student to earn a J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School.
Jordan is based in Denver, where he enjoys fly fishing, off-roading, and spending time with his husband and their three dogs: Hamilton, Huxley, and Lady Bird.
