Kert Davies

Kert Davies is Director of Special Investigations at the Center of Climate Integrity, where he helps maintain archives of evidence of climate denial by fossil fuel companies and their allies. 

Prior to joining CCI in 2023, Kert ran the Climate Investigations Center and the ClimateFiles.com project, an archive now widely cited in legal briefs. Kert was also the Greenpeace U.S. Research Director for 13 years, where he ran corporate accountability projects, including the online data-visualization site ExxonSecrets launched in 2004 and a 2010 report on the Koch brothers role in climate denial. 

Kert has degrees in Environmental Studies from Hampshire College and the University of Montana. He has worked with numerous investigative journalists, documentary film teams, academic researchers, and Congressional researchers over his 30 years of nonprofit environmental advocacy work.
