Lauren O'Brien

Lauren O'Brien is the manager of the Schools Campaign at the Center for Climate integrity, where she highlights the impacts of climate change on school districts throughout the United States. She has worked with CCI's political team since 2019, most recently building nonprofit partnerships as Outreach and Engagement Lead.

Lauren is an experienced program administrator, community organizer, and educator. She has worked in field organizing for political campaigns and constituent services for the New Jersey General Assembly, and led advocacy work with Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense and METAvivors of New Jersey. She lived abroad for 15 years, is fluent in Spanish, and has a Masters degree in Theatre Education from N.Y.U.
