Richard Wiles is the President of the Center for Climate Integrity, where he guides the organization’s efforts to expose Big Oil’s lies and demand accountability.

Under Richard’s leadership, CCI has produced groundbreaking investigations into the fossil fuel industry’s deception, conducted pioneering studies about the local and national costs of climate change, and provided support to the growing number of communities and officials working to hold Big Oil accountable. 

Richard has been widely quoted and interviewed as a leading climate accountability voice in major media outlets including The New York Times, Associated Press, BBC, CNN, and NPR.  

Previously, Richard was Senior Vice President and Vice President for Strategic Communications at Climate Central, co-founder and Executive Director of Environmental Working Group, and Senior Staff Officer at the National Research Council of the National Academy of Sciences.
