Chris Gorsek
State Senator
Multnomah County, OregonAfter serving as both a city councilor and state representative, Chris was elected to the Oregon Senate in 2020. He serves as co-chair of the Oregon Wildlife Caucus and has earned a 100% score from the Oregon League of Conservation voters. After serving for the better part of a decade as a Portland Police Officer, Gorsek went back to school eventually earning his PhD in urban studies. When not serving in the Oregon Legislature he teaches geography and criminal justice at Mount Hood Community College. In his capacity as a geography educator he has been teaching about the dangers of climate change for decades.
