Supervisor Martin was first elected to the county board April 3, 2018. She was re-elected in 2020 and is currently running unopposed for her third term in April 2022. She currently serves as Chair of the Health Equity, Human Needs and Strategic Planning Committee and serves on the Parks, Energy & Environment Committee, Audit Committee, and Economic and Community Development Committee.
She and her husband along with their “fur kid”, Jazz the Cat, reside in the Sherman Park Neighborhood, where they have lived for more than 40 years. Supervisor Martin is a proud alumnus of Milwaukee Public Schools, having graduated from John Marshall High School. She attended Bryant & Stratton College and Lakeland College (now known as Lakeland University).
