Supervisor Jody Spencer is a lifelong resident of the county that she now serves, elected to the Racine County Board, 5th District, in Spring 2020. She worked a full career as a USPS Letter Carrier and has been a union member from day one. Her background is in Labor and workers’ rights, trained by the National Association of Letter Carriers Leadership Academy in Baltimore MD. She held local branch positions as a trustee, health benefits rep, legislative liaison, editor, and vice president. For the Wisconsin State Association of Letter Carriers, she was the director of communications and state chairperson.
Aside from her union work, she has advocated for justice including racial, LGTBQ+, immigration reform, environmental and more. She volunteers in many capacities and has served on many committees as well as helped on numerous campaigns.
For Racine County she serve on the Finance and Human Resources and Health and Human Services Committees.
