Senator Kelly Morrison represents Senate District 45, which includes the Lake Minnetonka area in the western suburbs of Minneapolis. She is an Assistant Majority Leader and serves on the following committees: Health and Human Services, Environment, Climate and Legacy, State and Local Government and Veterans, and she serves as Vice Chair of the Transportation Committee. Senator Morrison is serving her first term in the Minnesota Senate after representing her community for four years in the Minnesota House.
Senator Morrison has been a practicing obstetrician-gynecologist for more than two decades in Minneapolis. When not legislating or doctoring, she enjoys reading, being outdoors, camping in the BWCA, and cheering for Minnesota sports teams! She lives in Deephaven with her husband, their three children, and three dogs.
