Representative Kim Schofield proudly represents Georgia House District 63 in Fulton County which includes portions of the cities Atlanta, East Point, College Park, Hapeville, South Fulton and Union City. An advocate for health and environmental health, Rep. Schofield works in lupus research and chronic disease, health equity, health disparities and environmental health, air and water quality and Tax Chemicals. She serves on Health, Small Business Development, Interstate Cooperation. Creative Arts Committee, and Secretary of the House Urban Affairs Committee.
Schofield champions climate accountable and climate action as a former State Director works closely with National Caucus of Environmental Legislators. Being a board member of the National Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women, Rep. Schofield has worked on Agriculture and Reproductive Justice. Her work in eradicating Food Deserts, bans Forever Chemicals and Food as Medicine is gaining bipartisan support.
Schofield is a State Director of the National Federation of Women Leaders, an E. Pluris Unum Fellow and Henry Toll Fellow of the Council of State Government. In 2019, Rep. Schofield was shown in as the Honorable Kentucky Colonel.
