Larry Kraft has served as a Minnesota State Representative since January 2023 and was an at-large city council member in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, from 2020 through 2022. From 2014-19, he led the national nonprofit iMatter, which supported high school and middle school youth leaders as they pressed local governments to take action on climate change. One such youth-led campaign was in St. Louis Park and resulted in the most aggressive city climate action plan in Minnesota. Larry left a 25 year high-tech business career in 2013 to focus on climate change. His most recent position was senior vice president of sales and marketing for Digi International. He is also an ice cream fanatic.
