Lee Snodgrass was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in November 2020. She serves as the chair of the LGBTQ legislative caucus and was elected in January 2021 into caucus leadership as Sergeant at Arms.
In Lee’s first term in office she has authored over 20 bills and has been a champion for pollinator protections, climate mitigation, outdoor recreation, LGBTQ equality, women’s reproductive choice, paper industry jobs, small business development and working families. Lee also serves as the 2nd Vice Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. Prior to her time in the Assembly Lee served as the Director of Communications for the Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes and Lee has called Appleton home since 1992. She’s the proud parent to two 20-somethings who are blazing their own paths to make the world a better place.
