Lindsey serves as a City Councilmember in his hometown of Port Angeles, Washington, on Klallam (nəxʷsƛ̕áy̕əm̕) land. First elected in 2017, Lindsey works to make Port Angeles a community where working families can afford to live.
Lindsey works on policy advocacy for Firelands Workers Action/<i>Acción de Trabajadores</i>, a multiracial organization of working people in rural western Washington fighting for a just economy for everyone.
He is a lawyer, with eight years of experience in constitutional law litigating for local governments to have the ability to protect their residents' health and safety from corporate special interests that exploit our communities. Before that, he was a field science educator. He graduated from Oberlin College, and Gonzaga University School of Law with highest honors and pro bono distinction.
