Luke has served on the Edmonds City Council since January 2020. In immediate respones to the pandemic, Luke authored a housing and relief fund to support those impacted by COVID-19, as well as a residential eviction moratorium. Luke co-led policy changes to Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree, to address issues of equity, and has been a strong advocate for clean, active transportation options. Luke's professional background includes more than 14 years of experience in outreach and communications work. He currently does community outreach and engagement work for Community Transit, the Snohomish County public transportation provider, and is the Board President of the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation.
