Michael Garrett is currently serving his second term as the NC State Senator representing District 27. Garrett is a native of Guilford County, graduate of local public schools, and owns and operates his own small business. As a father with a young son and daughter, his service is motivated by wanting his children - and all children - to have the opportunity to reach their full potential. That's why, in the State Senate, he’s worked across party lines to address our growing climate crisis, invest more in public schools, make health care more affordable, and is focused on building an economy that puts workers and small businesses first.
