Maryland State Delegate Terri Hill, M.D. is a plastic surgeon in solo practice who has been serving in the Maryland General Assembly since 2015. As the only licensed, practicing physician in the House, she serves on the Health and Government Operations Committee. Having previously served on the Insurance, Health Facilities and Pharmaceuticals, Health Facilities and Health Occupations, Government Operations and Estates & Trusts, and Estates and Trusts subcommittees, she currently serves on the Public Health and Minority Health Disparities and the Government Operations and Health Facilities Subcommittees. In 2021 she was appointed to the Commission to Advance Next Generation 911 Across Maryland. Previously policy service assignments include the Maryland Attorney General's COVID-19 Access to Justice Task Force, and the Maryland House Justice Reinvestment, Affordable Care Act, and Death with Dignity Workgroups. Memberships include the Maryland Legislative Black Caucus, The Women Legislators of Maryland (Past Parliamentarian), Maryland Legislative Latino Caucus Associate Member, Baltimore County Delegation (Secretary and Chair, Legislative Bond Initiative Subcommittee), and Howard County Delegation (Past House Chair). Delegate Hill earned her Bachelors in bio-electric engineering from Harvard University, her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and completed a craniofacial fellowship at the University of Miami. She has been in practice since 1991.
