Nikil Saval

Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaNikil Saval is the Senator for the First District in Pennsylvania. He is the author of Cubed: A Secret History of the Workplace (Doubleday, 2014). As a journalist, he covered architecture and design, and he was an editor-in-chief of the magazine n+1. He was a volunteer labor organizer and researcher with UNITE HERE, the union of hospitality workers, and a co-founder of Reclaim Philadelphia, a progressive organization that emerged from the 2016 Bernie Sanders Presidential campaign. He lives in South Philadelphia with his partner and their child.
