Jordan McNamara
Staff Attorney
Jordan McNamara (he/him) is a Staff Attorney at the Center for Climate Integrity, where he supports the organization's strategies to hold Big Oil accountable for fueling the climate and plastic waste crises.
Before joining CCI, Jordan worked to protect LGBTQ+ rights and expand community access to legal and medical resources. As the former Executive Director of the Colorado Name Change Project, Jordan was named one of the "40 Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40" and received the Stonewall Award from the American Bar Association for his work advancing LGBTQ+ individuals and causes in the legal profession.
Jordan received his undergraduate degree from Ball State University and was the first out transgender student to earn a law degree from the University of Colorado Law School. Before his legal career, he served in the United States Air Force. Jordan is based in Denver and enjoys fly fishing and offroading with his husband and three dogs.
