Baltimore, MarylandI am a member of the House of Delegates representing District 44B in western Baltimore County. I serve on the Environment and Transportation Committee. My priorities include climate, transit equity, racial justice, universal healthcare, mental health, juvenile justice, disability rights, reproductive rights, and workers' rights.
Previously I served on the Baltimore County Democratic Central Committee and was the first Chair of the Maryland Democratic Party’s Progressive Diversity Leadership Council. In 2017 I founded the Baltimore County Progressive Democrats Club.
I live with my husband and two cats in Westview Park, where I’ve lived for over thirty years. I have one adult son who lives with his wife in New Hampshire. Professionally I’m a web developer, and I’m currently Executive Director of the Cybils Awards for children’s and young adult literature. I’ve long been passionate about children’s literature and the impact diverse books can have on a child’s life.
